Books like “Pride and Prejudice”, “Great Expectations”, “Hamlet” and “Wuthering Heights” are considered classics of English literature. All these books have an appeal that transcends boundaries of time and geography. Even today, when we read, it seems very timely and significant. Time has not been able to disappear from their magic. Have you ever thought about why these books have universal appeal? Quite simply, they were written by the great authors who had a deep knowledge of the human psyche, emotions and life in general. Is it a coincidence that the authors of the classics mentioned here are British. William Shakespeare (1564 – 1616)

William Shakespeare was a playwright and actress, who has lived in England towards the end of 1500. His works are themes that resonate with audiences around the world, because they have to do with things that are truly universal. Many go so far as to say that education is not complete without the author’s exposure to the works of Shakespeare.
No record survives, showing the birth of Shakespeare, but he was baptized April 26, 1564 at Holy Trinity Church in his hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon in southern England. It is reasonable to assume he was born in 1864 and was baptized shortly thereafter. He married a woman named Anne Hathaway at the age of 18 she was 26 and pregnant at the time. Six months after their marriage a daughter, Suzanne, was born. Two years later, fraternal twins born to Shakespeare and his wife. Shakespeare wrote Henry VI, Part One, which was his first work. From then until his death in 1616, is believed to have attracted an average of about one and a half games per year. In 1594, Shakespeare was a member (and co-owner) of a theater company called “Lord Chamberlain’s Men.” The group was doing one of the best in London, and had the exclusive right to perform plays that Shakespeare wrote. When I became head of the James Gang in 1603, its name was changed to “The King’s Men.”

The participation of the Shakespeare Theatre Company, seems to have won a very nice income for him, the records show that he made many real estate purchases. Shakespeare differs from many influential artists in history, as it is financial success during his lifetime. He did his job to Queen Elizabeth, and his successor, James I.

Shakespeare’s output was prolific, has reportedly written 37 plays and 154 sonnets. One of his most famous plays are classics such as Dream of a Midsummer Night, As You Like It, Othello, Hamlet, Macbeth, Tempest, The Merchant of Venice, and, of course, Romeo and Juliet. In addition to his duties of writing, Shakespeare the actor has appeared in some games, but not always play he had written. A voice suggests that he played the ghost of Hamlet’s father in Hamlet, but there is no evidence to support this claim.

One of the reasons why Shakespeare is considered as an influential writer because he has helped shape the English language for what it is today. Shakespeare commonly used new words in his plays and introduced the terms persist to this day. Among the new words that Shakespeare is given credit for words like bloody bump castigate promising dec, frugal, dark, monumental, obscene, and diving. Phrases that he is credited with a cold, including the conclusion has lost, it is Greek to me, the method in his madness, strange companions, and too much of a good thing.
